Capote had a brilliant idea, and a fascinating way of putting those words to a page. For most, however, writing is a journey of trial and error. Occasionally the stars align. More frequently there are many revisions, restructure, attempts and/or reorganization of ideas. And that’s OK. Writing is a process. We don’t all have the ability to make words form a perfect thought on the first try.
Our advice to novice writers: writing is challenging but oh so rewarding at the same time. Our advice to all writers: don’t get discouraged. Keeping throwing words into the air and let them fall where they may. Have confidence in yourself and don’t over judge.
