Why use an LK Proofreader?
LK Editorial’s professional proofreaders will work with you to review your manuscript (or copy) for surface errors. These are errors involving spelling, punctuation, grammar and word choice. *Proofreading does not include editing. If you need your document to be proofread and edited then we suggest trying our Editing service.

How does the proofreading process work?
- Contact LK for a quote.
- If you decided LK is a fit, then we will send you a client agreement stipulating the terms of the proofreading process.
- LK will pair you with one of our talented proofreaders to begin your proofreading.
- Upon completion of your proofread manuscript, your LK Proofreader will send you three documents: (1) A memo detailing overall comments; (2) an MS Word document of your manuscript; and (3) a PDF version of your manuscript.
How much does proofreading cost?
Proofreading is charged at $30/hour.
